CAM-CCBC CONGRESS.
The Arbitration Congress, organized by CAM-CCBC, reaffirms its purpose and worldview
by integrating sustainability as a central pillar of its strategy.
CARBON NEUTRAL.
We understand that every major experience generates an impact on the broader environment. Therefore, in partnership with Carbonext, we carried out a complete greenhouse gas emissions inventory for the Congress and offset the corresponding emissions.
This initiative reinforces CAM-CCBC’s commitment to responsible, transparent and sustainability-oriented institutional action.
INSTITUTIONAL COMMITMENTS.
In accordance with Administrative Guideline No. 03/2023, CAM-CCBC establishes guidelines that support the organization of the event, ensuring that its strategic values are aligned with the promotion of environmental sustainability.
These guidelines support the adoption of more conscious practices in resource management, waste reduction and the search for solutions that minimize the environmental impacts of the Congress.
OFFSET Certificate.
For CAM-CCBC, sustainability is a measurable and auditable process.
We provide the document that certifies the carbon offsetting of our previous editions, reinforcing the transparency of the process and the delivery of real value to society.
How we neutralize
our emissions:
The achievement of the Carbon Neutral seal for the CAM-CCBC Congress is the result of a rigorous process structured in three stages:
Measurement: we inventoried energy consumption, materials used, waste generated and the transportation of speakers and attendees.
Reduction: we adopted practices to minimize resource waste and reduce the use of plastics during the event.
Offsetting: unavoidable emissions were neutralized through carbon credits generated by Carbonext, which develops REDD+ projects in the Brazilian states of Acre, Amazonas, Mato Grosso, Pará and Rondônia.
